In Galatians 5:16 it says "so I say, live by the spirit and you will not gratify the desires of sinful nature" and because the world does not live by the spirit but by sinful nature they will do acts of people with sinful nature. In versus 18 to 21 it goes on to list some of the acts of sinful nature and one is hatred.
